D-MAX is a Japanese motorsports manufacturer known for drift-focused suspension, steering, aero, drivetrain, and vehicle-specific performance components.
This D-MAX braking component is intended as a vehicle-specific service or performance upgrade for the listed Nissan applications.
This is a collaborative model developed in collaboration with Project Mu. Based on D1-SPEC EXTREME tests, this model is designed to handle the ultra-high-speed courses of the GP class. This rear brake pad model is specifically designed to provide more stable and powerful braking force and induce rear wheel lock-up even under extremely high load conditions with high brake temperatures on high-speed courses such as D1GP and Formula D.

It also effectively removes dust generated by intense friction.
When substances contained in the friction material of brake pads burn at high temperatures, gas is generated, which interferes with braking effectiveness in the gap between the pad and the rotor. This is called brake fade. The slit located in the center of the brake pad efficiently expels gas and pad debris, maintaining stable braking force. *Not compatible with some vehicle models. *Brake squeal may occur due to resonance caused by aging of the rotor, judder, brake dust, rust, climate, etc. *Some products are not compatible.
Chamfer cut to suppress unpleasant noises
If the brake pads have sharp edges, an unpleasant noise will be produced during braking. To prevent this, the edges are chamfered (end chamfer cut) to minimize unpleasant brake squeal. *Brake squeal may occur due to resonance caused by rotor aging, judder, brake dust, rust, climate, etc. * Some products are not subject to this.
No extra heat treatment is necessary.
The rotors are pre-heat treated, burning off any unnecessary materials only needed during manufacturing, thus suppressing the generation of gases that cause brake fade. After purchase, simply break them in and you can use them with peace of mind. *Brake noise may occur due to resonance caused by rotor aging, judder, brake dust, rust, climate, etc. *Some products are exempt from these conditions.
A sturdy backplate to prevent distortion.
The performance required of a backplate is that it can withstand the powerful pressure of the piston and not deform. If it deforms, the friction material may peel off, potentially causing a serious accident. Normally, steel is used for backplates, but we use a steel plate that is 20% stronger than the genuine part to ensure sufficient strength.
