Shipping policy

SHIPPING POLICY

Parts From Japan carefully packages all products before shipment; however, once an order has been transferred to the shipping carrier, responsibility for the shipment passes to the customer.

Customers are strongly encouraged to inspect all packages upon delivery before signing for or accepting them. If a package shows signs of damage, customers should refuse delivery whenever possible and immediately notify both the shipping carrier and Parts From Japan.

If shipping insurance is purchased, it is the customer's responsibility to initiate and cooperate with any insurance claim process required by the carrier. Customers must retain all packaging materials, take photographs of the damaged package and contents, and provide any documentation requested by the carrier or insurer.

Parts From Japan is not responsible for damage, loss, theft, delays, mishandling, or other issues caused by shipping carriers once an order has left our facility. Claims for shipping damage, loss, or theft must be pursued through the carrier and any applicable shipping insurance provider.

Failure to inspect a package upon delivery, refusal to document damage, disposal of packaging materials, acceptance of visibly damaged shipments, or failure to comply with carrier claim requirements may result in denial of an insurance claim. Parts From Japan shall not be liable for denied claims resulting from a customer's failure to follow carrier procedures.

Shipping transit times are estimates only and are not guaranteed. Parts From Japan is not responsible for delays caused by carriers, customs agencies, weather events, labor disputes, supply chain disruptions, or other circumstances beyond our control.

By placing an order, the customer acknowledges and agrees to this Shipping Policy and accepts responsibility for complying with all carrier and insurance claim requirements.
