D-MAX is a Japanese motorsports manufacturer known for drift-focused suspension, steering, aero, drivetrain, and vehicle-specific performance components.
The D-MAX D1SPEC Pillow Traction Rod is designed for drift and performance builds that require more precise suspension movement, consistent alignment, and increased adjustment compared with worn factory components.
The next part to replace after the upper arms and toe control arms is this traction rod. The original rubber bushings have been replaced with pillow ball bushings. By reducing losses in response to changes in camber and toe, it's possible to effectively improve traction. It doesn't have much effect on its own, so we recommend replacing it at the same time as the upper arms and toe control arms.
