D-MAX is a Japanese motorsports manufacturer known for drift-focused suspension, steering, aero, drivetrain, and vehicle-specific performance components.
D-MAX develops its aero around functional drift styling, vehicle balance, and a fitment-specific shape. This d1spec hood (s13) is supplied for professional preparation and installation.
During drift driving, the large front duct and the triple-fin duct at the rear efficiently draw in air to dramatically improve cooling, reducing the temperature inside the engine bay. This not only lowers oil and water temperatures but also reduces sensor malfunctions caused by heat by suppressing the rise in engine bay temperature. The carbon fiber hood boasts a beautiful texture even in its unpainted state, taking advantage of the carbon fiber material's strong, continuous fiber structure. While dry carbon is lightweight, durable, and heat-resistant, it is very susceptible to UV rays. Therefore, D-MAX uses wet carbon fiber, which is made by naturally drying and hardening polyester resin, making it suitable for street users. ■ Material: CARBON
